Birthday Gift? I have to *make* a gift for someone's birthday, which is several days after christmas, however, they live 1500 miles away, so I really need to ship it -- which means I probably want to ship it as early as possible as well. The girl I like is also one of my better friends, so I want it to be something memorable, but I don't want a gift to be overly romantic either. I want it to be a real object -- not something look cookies or a CD or something. The girl is Venezuelan, so if I could incorporate that somehow (for instance, if something had to deal with birds, use the Venezuelan state bird) that would probably work to my advantage as well The other thing is that since I am going to have to ship it, it has to be something not too delicate, or that can be easily and safely packaged. Please, help. I really can't think of anything that doesn't require a lot more planning ahead.
