what website can i get gas gift cards? I need to purchase gift cards in denominations of 10 dollars for a gas station, either Exxon, Citgo etc. What website can I get them from that doesn't charge me a fee per card?
Where do I buy gas gift-cards if not the gas station? I can't find gas cards. I would like to give them out at Christmas to certain people. The biggest station where we live is Mobil, you'd think they sell gas cards, but they don't. Yet I see them up for raffles and different things, so someone sells them. The local grocery store doesn't have them. Where do you get yours? I'm stumped.

Gift cards for gas? I have a gift card for a gas station and I can't remember how much is left on the card because I have 2 different receipts and I had 2 different gift cards for this gas station. And I don't want to go to this gas station and figure out that I don't have any money left on it because I don't have any cash. Can I call the gas station and give them the number on the card so they can tell me the amount left? Or do they have to scan it?

Should I tell my roommates about the gas card rebate? You can get a nice gas rebate gift card if you subscriber to Rogers internet/tv etc. If I just mail in the rebate for myself, is there any way they can find out? Should I just split 5 way with them??(seems kind of dumb) (THe rebate form tells me I just need the account number and address where i want the card to be sent. Gift ideas for a picky Boss? He has everything and seems ungrateful for every gift we give him. Last year the office pitched in on a gas gift card, because it was something we knew he would use, and not actually sell like his other gifts. For Bosses day, we gave him Tickets to see his favorite team with his family, he gave those away because he couldn't make it. I need help with Teacher Appreciation Week, I have a lot of teachers, and I need help with gift ideas...? I go to a small charter/option schools, and the teachers here do a lot of work, to make our school different from all the rest. They work extremely hard, because it's an I.B. school. I love my teachers, all for different reasons, and they teach me so much, and care for each student. They teach all the groups of studies, like English, U.S. History, Geometry, Chemistry....you get the picture, and two electives.... For teacher appreciation week, i was thinking about getting every teacher of mine a balloon, but it seems stupid when I think about it. I would get them at the dollar tree, so it would be cheap though. I have 7 teachers, and I feel they all need a gift. What are some things you have done in the past, what are things I could do now? I do not have money available for gas cards, or gift cards, I kinda wanna buy them something, and then have something homemade. My friend told me to have a posterboard, and put candy on it. Like 'sorry we're such (put a box of nerds)' something .... on the board. I can spend about 25 dollars top, for all the teachers combinded. I would probably go to the dollar tree, and get things there. But I have lots of art supplys, and stuff like that. I also can bake. prepay gas? I was told that people used to be able to purchase gas cards for a set amount of gallons at todays prices and use it towards gas in the future like a gift card. The price of gas never matters because you have already paid for the amount of gallons your getting. Does anyone know if this is something that gas stations still do? Why do people give gift cards? When someone doesn't know what to get for someone, they often get them a gift-card. Why not just send a check, say, the amount of what the card cost. It won't cost the giver an extra cent, and money is always nice! With money, I can buy what I want at what store I want when I want! Or if I want to at all! There are times when just having the money is better than a new DVD player or an Old Navy shirt! Gas and groceries ain't cheap these days! With a gift card, they sometimes expire, and of course you have to use them at certain stores - or, as in my case, I've gotten cards where the store it's for isn't even in my part of the country! Or is so far away from my home that it's not worth driving to. And if you don't want a gift card, you can seldom trade it in for cash. Even if you buy something with a gift card then return the item, you rarely get cash back, but instead the amount gets put back on the gift card, or you get some other kind of store credit.' So why not just give money But I've gotten gift cards for Old Navy - not only do I not shop there, but it's SO far away from my home that the price of the gas would exceed the value of the gift card. And 'Caribou Coffee'...they don't even *have* those in my part of the country! And as much as getting a plastic card that entitles me to a new sweater or video game...I'd much rather have cash so I could spent it where I want... ...and I'm talking about *important* stuff here...like food. Water. Gas. Rent money. Tutition. Books. A new big screen TV will do me no good if I'm kicked out of my apartment for late rent, or my electricity is shut off due to past-due bills... To 'mobydick': When I really need it, no, I don't finding accepting charity a problem. Better to suck up your pride and accept a kind donation than move into your new digs in a cardboard box under the freeway. And to 'Imagine': I'm glad you're financially secure, but last year there were times when I wasn't. I was a struggling student, burdened with too much work, too much school and not enough TIME or energy. I never missed rent or utility payments, but I was darn close! ...and during those times, I'd much rather have gotten some cash than a gift card!
