What would you want in a guest gift basket?
I'm having a destination wedding in Cancun and I want to make gift baskets for all of my guests for coming so far. I have a few ideas so far: tequila, shot glasses, cameras, travel-size first aid kits w/plenty of pepto for the mexican food, sunblock, lip balm. Any suggestions would help, especially from guys. Ok and now I've decided to attraction brochures, cancun map, hotel brochure w/all the info. they'll need, mexican candy and/or cookies. I'm only gonna do the tiny tequilla shot bottles for the guests that I know drink. I was thinking about a koozie or keychain from mexico. suggestions?

- That's very generous of you, how about a Mexican hat, and condoms (novelty if need be). Or a voucher for an activity at the hotel, like windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving.
- a round trip ticket to and from australia, one bottle of champagne, my son and my daughter, a title of ownership for a house and lot, a key for a junior pajero.
- Hand sanitizer, moist towelettes, condoms, pesos to tip the hotel housekeeper so she doesn't steal your luggage...
- I don't know if I'd go as far as putting in the Tequilla...that could get expensive, depending on how many guests you were having. A few maps of the area would be a good idea...with places of interest highlighted, in case your guests wanted to go sightseeing on their own. Bottles of water wouldn't hurt either...wouldn't want dehydrated guests!! You could also try to put in soe local favorites...cookies or snacks that are found in Cancun.
- I wouldn't have put Tequila in the baskets but that's just me. It sounds like you've got some other nice stuff in there - I think you're good.
- Perhaps some chocolates and/or cheese and crackers so they have something to snack on when they first arrive at the hotel. You can get individual servings of cheese in wax so that it doesn't go bad so fast. I went to a wedding where they had snacks and wine in the gift baskets at the hotel. It was great to have something to munch on after traveling.
