How Do You Feel About Gifts of Food?
i'm seriously trying to come up with something(s) to gift to people, this holiday , that isn't going to end up taking up space in their basement or a landfill, somewhere. How do you feel about food baskets? What would be some good food basket themes? thank you.

- I think it's the most magical gift you could ever give someone.
- NiCE! :)
- I love food gifts. Our office get lots of food during the holidays from people trying to sell stuff to us. My faves are the homemade cookies, nothing beats fresh sweets! We get some fruit baskets too but don't get one too big or they may not be able to eat it all before it starts to go bad.
- Feed me !!!!!
- I would rather have a food gift that something that I have to store. My personal taste runs to the sausage/cheese/confection baskets. I know it's not 'upscale' but I can eat my present and give the leftover basket to someone who reuses them as carryalls. Perfect. Almost as good as cash, the gift that always fits, though some folks say money does not fit the bill because it requires no thought. O well, you can't buy a gallon of gas with a brick of cheese nor can you eat a gallon of gas on crackers (and live ;)
- I see nothing wrong with them. I like the cheese baskets. I like the coffee baskets with different cappucinos and cocoa and different stuff like that.
- Honestly I'm broke so I'd love gifts of food .. I just told my Mother In Law to get me gift cards to things I'll need like to buy girl stuff and so on ...
- My ex gave pumpkin bread baked in a coffee can. It was great.
- I think it's a great idea. Fruit and nut baskets are nice and candy. Everyone loves candy.
- There are some really great gourmet food baskets on Yahoo! Shopping (very tempting to get something for myself!) http://shopping.yahoo.com/b:Gourmet%20Connoisseur:784713422 Wine is also a nice idea, which you can also find some on the same link.
