Gift Ideas Faqs

Any gift suggestions for husband on the night of our wedding?

I don't really have a huge budget to buy him a gift after all of the wedding planning... I know he will probably be happy with anything that I give him though. I was thinking about cologne, or a silk robe, but these seem like blah everyday gifts. I also considered a copy of the first pic we ever took together in a really nice frame... Of course this will be accompanied by a card. Any other suggestions will be welcomed... I want to give him something unique and meaningful but I can't think of anything else... I know he loves to play chess and we are planning for him to teach me, so I could buy a nice chess set but this doesn't really seem appropriate does it? He loves music, traveling like little road trips, being outdoors, and computers. Thanks in advance for your suggestions....

  1. The thing he'll want on your wedding night is sex, duh.
  2. Give him lingere. Thats the best unwrapping he can get from you. Or you can play strip chess?
  3. You're the gift.
  4. LANGERIE, FOR YOU TOO WEAR.
  5. Why don't you just write down all the things you like about your husband and give it to him in a card?
  6. You
  7. give him a watch and engrave something on it.. :D good luck and enjoy the night ;) !
  8. The maid of honor
  9. Give him yourself, and that should be all he needs.....aww how corny, lol
  10. Make him a cd....then strip to it and have wild martial relations.
  11. on your wedding night get naked except for a large red bow then offer him sex
  12. i think a nice chess set would be nice for him. if he loves chess and wants to teach you then youre gift will bring you 2 together in a nice relaxing way. i know you said you are on a budget but a nice digital slr camera would also be a great gift, esp. since he likes traveling.
  13. You in skimpy lingerie, best present ever!
  14. i agree with the first answer. any gift is going to be a blah everyday gift to him. i do think a gift is nice and should be customary though. i like the robe idea. or get him an ipod from the apple website. they will engrave it for free! shuffles are only like 70-80 bucks.
  15. a dildo....HAHAHAH im just kidding hahahaha well men always love sex so you can gift him that but a session he'll never forget one like youve never done before OR think about what he likes, sports etc.. and get him something he'll never forget make it special bviously you know that :D
  16. some thing sentimental....... My friend gave her husband his grandfathers old war medals, (after talking to the grandmother of course) He cried and loved it...
  17. offer him your virginity (if you still have it). If not give him a long wet sloppy BJ and make sure you swallow.
  18. If it's the guy's wedding night, surely there'll be only one gift he'll be longing to unwrap
  19. Buy yourself a realllllly sexy little outfit. something you wouldn't ever really wear. Then surprise him with it and that could be your gift to him. oh yeah, and give me a night he will never forget. :)
  20. I think that you should do the picture thing. And buy some sexy lingere that you feel comfy in......he will love it =)
  21. Just a hint - I gave my husband a wedding gift, he had never even considered getting me one. I have to say that I was hurt. Mention to someone that you are getting him a gift - someone like his mom who will tell him, so that he will get you one. Sounds unromantic, but I have been married a long time, and I can tell you that most men need some suggestions.
  22. You should know the answer to your question. If you don't then you need to get to know your husband alot more then you think
  23. another woman
  24. don't think that you have too put a price on your feelings for him, not many things are ! being together too me is priceless..hugs, talks, quite time together.
  25. invest in some massage oil and give him a relaxing massage. And your picture and card too.
  26. a$$ to mouth
  27. Buy a nice bottle of champagne and two champagne glasses. These would be nice if your names were etched on them and then every anniversary you can toast a wonderful life together.
  28. I would feel that his best gift is you! So, if you plan on going to a nice honeymoon, just buy lingerie and things that will make him happy. That should be the best gift of all. Or, if you want to give him a material thing, ask him discreetly what he might want as a birthday present or ask one of his friends what he might want. He'll never know.
  29. I have a better idea. Give him you! That's the gift he really wants! If you really want to give him something, write down your thoughts in a card. Have it delivered while he is getting dressed for the ceremony by a friend of the family. It will bring him to tears!
  30. well, get creative, you are going to be spending the rest of your lives together, so be bidget-less...if he likes traveling on little road trips, get him a gas card for, well, a lot, then tell him that when you guys get back from the honeymoon, you're going on a road trip, load up onmoney, and just drive, doesn't matter where, forget the map (but make sure you have a plan for getting back) and just drive wherever, i think that would be sweet, i would love something like that, i think he would to, maybe bring a couple frienda along, you know, you could do wonders with that. if you really want to get a non-everyday gift, then you hve to get into his opersonal interests, so feel free to wonder with it, you know? good luck and congrats! (ps, ignore all the rude answers about "the wedding night", you know what i mean) good luck!
  31. Here are some ideas. Pick your favorite: A mix CD that you burn yourself, containing a nice variety of romantic, fun, sexy, and silly songs that remind you of your relationship, or that have a special meaning to the both of you. Really nice cufflinks, which are sort of the traditional wedding gift from wife to husband, though I'm not sure if anyone wears cufflinks anymore. A nice watch with a sweet inscription engraved on the back of it. (There are some great watches out there for not too much money.) Where are you honeymooning? Your gift could be tickets to a show he'd love, or surfing lessons, or something like that, that he can do while you're on your honeymoon. Some advice to you: Men in general don't always go for that schmoopy stuff, so even though a gift like a framed copy of the ticket stub of the first movie you ever went to or something like that would melt a woman's heart, most guys would probably look at it and go, "Oh, great, one more thing I have to keep on my desk for the rest of my life." Men, at least all the ones I know, are always more into gifts that are useful AND meaningful, rather than sentimental. Congrats on your wedding!
  32. I you can afford it why not matching night clothes, his being basically boxers and your a matching gown......the picture thing seems like a really unique gift however. It is funny you mentioned the chess thing, my new husband too was planning to teach me chess, and on our wedding night I said "do you want to teach me chest soon"? He laughed his head off, I had never heard of chess and always thought he was saying Chest as his game was in a chest...........thanks for bringing back that funny memory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I felt pretty silly.
  33. I'm sure that marrying you is the best gift possible, but if you want to give him something he can put on his desk at work, you can go into Hallmark stores, and check out their ceramic angels (Sarah's Angels - named after the lady who created them) for all occasions. I have bought them for family members, friends and co-workers and they are always well received. I have attached the website (you can also buy them on line) for you, so you can find the perfect one. Wishing you all the best in your new life together.
  34. I like your idea of the first picture. Perhaps combine this sentimental gift with the chess set, since that is his passion. With the chess set, perhaps there is one who's squares/peices are in your wedding colors? You can get sets in almost every color these days. That way he'd be reminded of the wedding when he plays. Don't stress too much on the gift, I am sure he'll love whatever you get. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
  35. Make up a photo album of your time together so far. Turn it into a story and write things beside each picture. You will only need to buy a nice album. Use the first page to place a letter telling why the album and your hubby mean so much to you.
  36. This is an awesome website that i find useful when finding gifts for anyone, it lets you use a filter to find the perfect gift for anyone on any occasion. Plus it's really easy to use! Congrats and good luck!! www.findgift.com
  37. a Brazilian wax, every man loves a women with a nice clean *****. I started getting electrolysis done before the wedding and my husband loves it.
  38. Get him a room at the Ritz...You know what to do from there.
  39. ok this is what you do that first picture in the nice frame and card idea thats a VERY good and heartful gift...ok you do that and when he opens it enclose another card besides the one you are going to give him and put " you have one more gift " and on the other side put "its me" and proceed to strip for him and make sure under whatever you are wearing its some nice sexy pj's and after you strip for him rip off his clothes and do the naughty, dirty sex of you and your hubby's lifetime.
  40. Maybe the pictur like you mentioned & maybe like a nice watch...nothing REALLY expensive but something he can wear during the wedding.
  41. okey doeky....suggestion time....my wife suprised me with a card, bubble bath and one of the most explosive bj's i have ever encountered one year....now if this isn't what your looking for then i do appologize...roses and a homemade dinner....email me me for more suggestions
  42. Since you said you dont have a huge budget i really like the picture idea that u mentioned. one idea you could do with that is get the pic big enough where u could write a letter on the back of it explaining how much u love him etc u kno what u want to write...this way he will have to take the pic out of the frame and really read the back ect which would be more meaningful .....or if u didnt want to write the letter on the back of the pic then u could typed it and spray it with your perfume and wit rose pettels (sp) in the letter in the envelope. this will mean the most to him cuz there is no money envolved it is comming from the heart. i hope your wedding goes WONDERFUL and that everthing is filled with love and that u are very happy! hope i helped :)
  43. Buy him one of those.. I Love you forever cards.....inside the card write on how much you love him. Buy him a nice red roses with a box of chocolate candies....BTW, later on in the nite, you both can enjoy the box a chocolate by feeding each other candies....Don`t to kiss him after each candy you feed him....
  44. Weddings I have attended, the bride and groom had their wedding party take gifts to each other BEFORE the ceremony begins. You are going to be so beat after the wedding and the partty, the best thing you can give each other is sleep. maybe a mutual foot rub in a bath tub together. Guys are not normally sentimental ( as evidenced by the answers they have given here), so I would hate for you to get something for him and then be disappointed if he didnt show the expected response because he is tired. Truthfully, I think you should just give of yourself in the biblical sense and even that might have to wait until the morning. Most of all, respect each other. If you are tired and he is tired, you are going to both be a little testy. Keep the wedding night simple and enjoy your time together. Congratulations!
  45. Uh, just be naked and willing.
  46. Unique art gift is the best present for any occasion. I recommend photoartomation.com ( http://www.photoartomation.com/ArtWork.htm ). These guys convert individual images to more then 50 artwork styles (Embroidery, Impasto Fauvism, Airbrush, Pencil Sketch… etc.,). After you send them your photo they create a preview sample of your photo. I sent a digital photo of my wife (I wanted to give her a special present for Valentines Day) to photoartomation and they turned it into three gorgeous art samples that I could preview online. I had a hard time picking one because all three were really beautiful. Although their prices pretty high I was not disappointed because when I received my order the prepared artwork was much more impressive then online samples. And my wife was just speechless…
